FAQ’s + THINGS TO KNOW

  • We allow all ages and ages 6+ to throw axes
  • Reservations are not required, but are recommended.  That said, walk-ins are always welcome!
  • Tipping your Axe-Master is greatly appreciated. If they do a good job, show ‘em some love.
  • Everyone throwing axes should arrive at least 15 minutes ahead of their designated throwing time to check in and sign your waiver.
  • If you show up intoxicated or our team feels you’ve had a little too much fun, you will not be able to throw axes.

While you get serious bonus points, we do not allow any outside equipment. This allows us to ensure a safe throwing environment for everyone involved.

Absolutely. If you have the ability to hold an axe and complete a safe throwing motion, you can participate.

Will my group get a lane to itself or will we be throwing with other people?2024-02-28T01:39:16+00:00

Depends on the size of your group. Axe throwing is an activity that’s most fun as part of a group. Otherwise how will you know who’s the superior axe throwing human? Each lane can accommodate up to 4 throwers or 8 throwers per bay. Each bay will be competing amongst each other when the games start. If you are a smaller group (5 or less) you will likely be making some new axe friends. That being said, we always do our best to accommodate groups of any size and will work with you when possible.

Spectators are always welcome at Game of Axes locations for both leagues and private events, and are only charged a fee if they decide to throw an axe.

What if my group size changes?2024-02-28T01:33:56+00:00

No worries! Group sizes often tend to change the day of! Please let us know if you group size has changed significantly either by replying to your confirmation email, chatting with us online, or calling us at 561-617-0120.

If your group size goes outside of the original group size that was booked, please be sure to tell us in advance so we can ensure adequate staffing and space. Please note that some minimum group sizes may apply.

What if I need to cancel or change my event date?2024-02-28T01:32:41+00:00

We have a 1-week cancellation policy. If you provide at least seven days notice ahead of your scheduled event then your deposit will be refunded. We can also change your event date provided that we receive 24 hours notice and there’s availability on your requested day. If you do need to make and changes simply reply to your confirmation email or reach to us via email, or give via phone (561-617-0120)!

Are you a bar where we can come & just have drinks?2024-02-28T01:28:31+00:00

Yes! Get your axe in here and have a drink, some food and chill on our patio or in our lodge-like bar lounge. We have fun games, like Jenga, Connect 4 and throwback board games to help you chill-axe (see what we did there?).

While we do not have food, we do encourage you to bring in food or have your favorite restaurant deliver to the bar.  You will have plenty of table space and our staff will assist.
